Welcome to the City of Sandpoint Parking Permit Portal

You may register now. Permits will not be available for purchase until June 8th at 9am PDT. 

The City of Sandpoint’s paid parking program is designed to improve parking availability in our busiest downtown and waterfront areas, support turnover near local businesses, and ensure that the cost of maintaining public parking facilities is shared by the people who use them. 

City of Sandpoint and Bonner County residents are eligible for low-cost annual parking permits that provide up to 8 hours of free parking per day in City-owned off-street parking lots, including downtown and waterfront lots. These resident permits are intended to make it easy and affordable for local residents to continue accessing downtown, City Beach, marinas, boat launches, parks, restaurants, shops, and other community destinations. 

To apply for, purchase, or renew a parking permit, please create an account or log in to your existing account. Permit applications may require address, residency, vehicle, boat registration, or marina slip verification depending on the permit type selected. Once your application has been submitted, staff will review the information provided. You will be notified by email when your permit has been approved, denied, or if additional information is needed.

Disabled permit holders are exempt from paid parking requirements.
